Kia ora koutou – Here’s the lastest from Brisbane’s kohanga reo on Marchant Park at Geebung. Tena koutou ki nga whanau i te wa kainga – greetings to all the families in Aotearoa who have mokopuna living over here in Australia. Over the Easter weekend we had a sleepover wananga to teach our tamariki some new haka and waiata. It was a great experience for all who came along, but the pictures say it all…. so here they are, starting with the mokopuna settling into the whare for their sleepover, then showing all the practices the children had until the Nannies came on Saturday afternoon to watch their wonderful performance – Next class, Sunday April 22nd at 11.00 am finishing with kai at 1pm.
